The Angels saw The Lamb
Way up in the sky
They looked up at Him
And asked why...
"We are supposed to be there too,
Singing Holy! Holy! Holy! What are
We doing down here right now,
for we long to be with You"
"Down there you are more useful,
Than you could ever know.
Guardian angels and Archangels fighting
The good fight."
The Angels only knew peace, for
that's the way they always faced.
Their faces beamed with Grace and
Love that only comes from above.
The Angels saw The Lamb,
Way up in the sky
They looked up at Him
And knew they ought to try
"Okay, well we will sing down here,
Holy! Holy! Holy! We long to be with
You, but we now see that
You are here too"
"Fight the good fight, but only use
peace. Protect all and light their way,
so they too can find Me wherever
they may be"
"Holy! Holy! Holy! In the darkness, in
the light, in the day, or in the night.
You are always there. What a
Revelation! You are always there. We
sing Holy! Holy! Holy! For You are
with us everywhere, everyday and are
Infinite in Your time, love and prayer."
"What a revelation! We are here right
now, but we are also with You!"
